Bringing Home Your New Cat or Kitten

We know how exciting it is bringing home your new kitten or cat but here are few things to think about during those first few days. It's important to give your new furry friend time to adjust to their new home. we recommend giving them a safe space of their own especially for their first few days, this could be a room of their own or an area of the house that is quiet and calm. We sometimes find that kittens and cats can get upset tummies in the first few days after they come to live in their new home. This is nothing to worry about but can be cause by a little bit of stress - there are lots of new noises and smells in their new environment for them to get used to. It could also be a change in diet so we suggest trying a bland diet - such as chicken, rice, scrambled egg for a few days and see if this helps settle their tummy. If they are still having symptoms then please get in touch and we can offer more advice. After you have adopted a new cat or kitten we are always on hand to help with any questions you may have so please get in touch.
